Well the time has now come to act on our commitment. We leave tonight to drive to Heathrow to begin the journey in earnest!
Please keep us in your thoughts over the next 7 days while we do our best to make the Orphans world a better place.
We will be passing diaries, photos and possibly even film of the project on a daily basis so please come back regularly to see how we are doing with your fantastic gifts and sponsorship.

What is the project about?
Our mission will be to make a real difference to the lives of the children in the orphanage.
We will be in South Africa for just 7 days but in that time we hope to give the children living in the Orphanage a safe and healthy environment in which to live, through the repair and refurbishment of the electrics, kitchen, animal enclosures and living areas. The living conditions and health of the Children will also be improved by laying paths to keep them out of the mud in the winter months.
Along with this two members of the team will also provide educational support throughout the week.
