First Post from the Team -update sent by Dean 23rd March

Well we are here !!! The Plymouth contingent of the team left Plymouth at 9pm on Friday the 21st Of March and we arrived here in Empangeni at 5pm on Sunday the 23rd March !! We left Heathrow at 7am Saturday going to Paris first then on to Johannesburg, which is where our adventure really started !! It was dark we had little or no sleep or bearings for that matter!! But by 1am Sunday we had found the overnight stop and got some well erned rest. then up for 7am for the drive to Empangeni ( a supposedly 5 HOUR DRIVE that took 8!!). This country is beautiful and so green, I never thought it would be so green !!! And not just any old green but a lush green. We could have been driving anywhere in the UK, an judging by the road signs we sometimes thought we were !! We passed DEVON quite early on !! (I'll send you photos!) followed quite quickly by Amsterdam oddly enough ! It seems such a beautiful country with so much going for it, but such poverty next to such wealth is still difficult to digest.
The gap between those with and those without, has to be one of the largest in the world, its staggering....

Anyway we are here safe and sound and eager to start work in earnest tomorrow, we start at 7am to make the most of the light and cool parts of the day.We can't wait to start work and meet the kids. I hope to post to you each day and hopefully will pass on photos and video as we get it.
